Ex Ore Equi is a new group (in 2017) of professional singers. As our name suggests we seek something authentic and off piste in our performances.

Where the music of previous generations is concerned, this might reflect itself in the form of pilmgrimage (geographically) and study (historically).

Where contemporary repertoire is concerned this might reflect itself in the use of texts not usually associated with choral music. If, as is likely, we cannot find enough repertoire in this underexplored genre then we will commission new works – collaboration is key!
